A construction project manager is responsible for designing, monitoring and controlling structural changes to a building.
What does a construction project manager do?
Construction project management is performed either by trained construction project managers or by civil engineers and architects. They plan the construction work, calculate the construction costs and obtain the relevant permits from the relevant authorities. They are also directly involved in the tendering process for the search for trades, the awarding of contracts and the invoicing of construction services. At the end of the construction phase, construction project managers are responsible for handing over the finished building.
