Interior designers ensure that the rooms of a building meet the aesthetic as well as functional requirements of the occupants.

 

What are the tasks of an interior designer?

Interior designers are involved in the design, technical, economic, ecological and social design of a building. The interior designer is guided by the individual wishes of his clients. He develops furnishing concepts and implements them in line with the existing budget. The interior architect develops dimensionally accurate sketches using modern CAD programs.

During his studies, the interior designer can specialise in the areas of existing buildings and monument preservation, lighting design and exhibition design.
