Model makers visualize technical drawings by creating a three-dimensional model from the sketches.
Why do you need a model maker?
Model makers are often used in large and expensive projects to get a concrete impression of the designes structure based on the model. This is presented, for example, to investors who are to get a clear picture of the designed building.
What are the tasks of a model maker?
There are three fields of study between which model makers can choose: View, foundry/bodywork and production. In the building industry the field of view is in demand. The model maker produces true-to-scale miniator models based on a technical drawing. He works by hand or operates computer-controlled machines.
